A Fine Line

written by Jake Stilson

Oh and Walt said it did not contain his measure

yet for some folks it's their greatest treasure

I don't believe what you believe makes you any better

for the most part we all change like the weather

and I don't care if you've got dirt all on your face and hands

That just means you're down to earth and

it's a fine line between content

and complacent

My family had a lot of isms

like you can't eat them flowers and you are to be forgiven

you never knew what you were getting until you bit in

it takes all kinds of people to make the world a place to live in

And I don't care if you've got dirt all on your face and hands

that just means you're down to earth and

it's a fine line

between content and complacent
